Autumn and winter in 2019 began with mild temperatures. Spring was initially warm, while in May and June, temperatures dropped considerably, accompanied by considerable rain, which balanced out a hot, dry summer.
The intensity of Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC Bosan 2019’s colour mirrors its aromatic complexity (red fruits and tangy cherries). Its body is full and balanced. The finish is slightly acidic, with hints of cocoa and toasted coffee.

The vineyard
Bosan wines are born from a single vineyard located nearby the town of Marano di Valpolicella, at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level.
This area, remarked by terraced vineyards trained in the ‘pergola Veronese’ system, features a limestone soil of volcanic origin and ideal exposure.
All these elements come together to create dynamic, elegant, and distinctive wines, such as the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG Bosan.

The top-tier
Our finest expression of Valpolicella Classica wines from a single vineyard.
From Marano di Valpolicella comes a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, left on the vines to mature for a longer-than-average period. The wine undergoes maceration on the skins to extract their full potential and concludes with ageing in steel tanks and bottles.
